Shipping & Delivery
1. Delivery areas
Delivery is carried out as standard within Germany. Delivery to selected EU countries is only possible if this is explicitly shown in the checkout.
We reserve the right to restrict the delivery area at any time for legal, regulatory or logistical reasons (e.g. seasonal temperature conditions or requirements of the Packaging Act).
2. Shipping costs, free‑shipping thresholds & multi‑parcel shipments
-
Germany: shipping flat rate of 5.99 € per order; free shipping from a gross order value of 49.00 € (after deduction of discounts).
-
EU (selected countries): shipping flat rate of 7.99 €; free shipping from a gross order value of 59.00 €.
If an order requires multiple parcels due to weight, volume or break‑protection (e.g. more than 30 kg per parcel), additional shipping costs may arise. These will be clearly indicated in the checkout.
The shipping costs shown in the checkout are always decisive. Seasonal or promotion‑related adjustments (e.g. summer shipping) are reserved.
3. Temperature‑control / summer shipping (quality assurance)
To protect temperature‑sensitive goods (e.g. chocolate), a refrigerated shipping solution may be used in the summer months. In this case, an additional cooling flat rate (currently 9.90 €) may be charged, which may replace the standard shipping costs.
If temperatures are extremely high, we reserve the right to temporarily postpone the shipment. In this case, we will inform you by e‑mail.
If you request delivery without personal handover (e.g. left‑at‑door, preferred location, or preferred neighbour), the delivery will take place at your own risk, provided the carrier properly deposits the shipment at the specified location. We accept no liability for any resulting damage, loss or quality deterioration to the extent permitted by law.
4. Delivery time & partial deliveries
Unless otherwise stated for the respective product, the delivery time is 3–5 business days after receipt of payment.
Processing time is generally 1–2 business days. The subsequent transit time depends on the respective carrier.
In the case of unexpectedly high demand or supply shortages, delays may occur. In such cases, we will inform you immediately.
We are entitled to make partial deliveries if this is reasonable for quicker processing and does not incur additional costs to you.
5. Carrier & shipment tracking
Shipments are handled by DHL or a comparable carrier.
After your order is dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation with tracking information by e‑mail. Depending on the carrier, additional services such as parcel notifications, preferred delivery day, preferred location or preferred neighbour may be available.
6. Acceptance, non‑deliverability & delayed acceptance
If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address details, failure to collect (e.g. after expiry of the storage period) or refusal of acceptance, we reserve the right to charge you for the costs of a repeat delivery.
If the goods are returned to us, we will refund the purchase price minus the incurred shipping and return costs.
For perishable or temperature‑sensitive goods, any quality loss caused by delayed acceptance shall be at your expense.
7. Transport damage & complaints
Please check the goods for transport damage as soon as possible after receipt.
If there is any visible damage, we ask you, where possible, to report it directly to the carrier and have it documented.
Please notify us of transport damage promptly and, where possible, attach clear photos.
Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
8. Returns (right of withdrawal)
In the case of a withdrawal within 14 days, you bear the direct costs of returning parcel‑shippable goods.
Please pack the goods securely for transport and, for sensitive products, adequately protect them (e.g. against breakage or heat).
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this is due to handling that goes beyond checking the condition, characteristics and functionality.
9. Reservation of title
The goods remain our property until full payment is made.
In the event of payment default, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract and demand the return of the goods. Further statutory claims remain unaffected.
10. Shipping restrictions & force majeure
During public holidays, in cases of force majeure or under exceptional weather conditions, shipping delays or temporary shipping halts may occur.
When shipping abroad, additional legal or regulatory requirements may apply. We reserve the right to restrict or reject orders to such countries.
