Shipping & Delivery
1.Delivery areas
Delivery is standard within Germany. Deliveries to selected EU countries are only possible if this is indicated accordingly at checkout.
We reserve the right to restrict the delivery area at any time for legal, regulatory, or logistical reasons (e.g., seasonal temperature conditions or requirements of packaging law).
2. Shipping costs, free limits & multi-package shipping
- Germany: flat-rate shipping €5.99 per order; free shipping for a gross merchandise value of €49.00 or more (after discounts).
- EU (selected countries): flat-rate shipping €7.99; free shipping for a gross merchandise value of €59.00 or more.
If an order requires multiple packages due to weight, volume, or breakage protection (e.g., over 30 kg per package), additional shipping costs may apply. These are displayed transparently at checkout.
The shipping costs shown at checkout are always decisive. Seasonal or promotion-related adjustments (e.g., summer shipping) are reserved.
3. Temperature / Summer Shipping (Quality Assurance)
To protect temperature-sensitive goods (e.g., chocolate), a cooled shipping solution can be used during the summer months. For this purpose, an additional cooling fee (currently €9.90) may be charged, which can apply instead of the regular shipping costs.
In case of extreme temperatures, we reserve the right to temporarily postpone shipping. In this case, we will inform you by email.
If you wish for delivery without personal handover (e.g., leave permission, desired location, or preferred neighbor), the delivery is at your own risk, provided the shipping service provider properly deposits the shipment at the specified location. We assume no liability for any resulting damage, loss, or quality reductions, as far as legally permissible.
4. Delivery time & partial deliveries
Unless otherwise specified for the respective product, the delivery time is 3–5 business days after receipt of payment.
The processing time is usually 1–2 business days. The subsequent shipping time depends on the respective shipping service provider.
In case of unexpectedly high demand or supply shortages, delays may occur. In this case, we will inform you immediately.
We are entitled to make partial deliveries, provided this is reasonable for a prompt processing and does not incur any additional costs for you.
5. Shipping service providers & shipment tracking
The shipment is carried out by DHL or a comparable shipping service provider.
After your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking via email. Depending on the shipping service provider, additional services such as package notification, preferred day, preferred location, or preferred neighbor can be used.
6. Acceptance, Non-Deliverability & Default of Acceptance
If delivery is not possible due to incorrect or incomplete address information, non-collection (e.g., after the storage period expires), or refusal of acceptance, we reserve the right to charge you for the costs of a repeated delivery.
If the goods are returned to us, we will refund the purchase price minus the incurred shipping and return costs.
For perishable or temperature-sensitive goods, any quality losses due to delayed acceptance shall be at your expense.
7. Transport damage & complaints
Please check the goods for transport damage as soon as possible after receipt.
For externally visible damage, we ask you to, if possible, report this directly to the carrier and have it documented.
Please report transport damage to us as soon as possible, attaching meaningful photos.
Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
8. Returns (Cancellation)
In the event of a withdrawal within 14 days, you will bear the direct costs of returning goods that can be sent by parcel.
Please pack the goods securely for transport and – in the case of sensitive products – appropriately protected (e.g., against breakage or heat).
You only have to compensate for any loss of value of the goods if this is due to handling that goes beyond inspecting the condition, properties, and functionality.
9. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.
In the event of late payment, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract and to demand the return of the goods. Further statutory claims remain unaffected.
10. Shipping Restrictions & Force Majeure
During holidays, force majeure, or exceptional weather conditions, there may be shipping delays or temporary shipping stops.
When shipping abroad, additional legal or regulatory requirements may apply. We reserve the right to restrict or refuse orders to such countries.
